I am an award-winning artist in Evansville, Indiana. Although I chose to study business in college instead of attending art school, my passion for art never left me. In my late 30s, while working as the Director of a nonprofit peer-run recovery center, I was surrounded by passionate artists in the Arts Empowerment program. Their creative spark reignited my young adulthood dream of becoming an artist. Returning to art after years away felt like a breath of fresh air. It not only filled a missing piece in my life but also improved my mental health and connected me to a supportive art community.
