The TL;DR
Sorry I won't have more books with me at the conference, and that I didn't prepare class slideshows, but this year has been... a year. My dad has had increasingly complex health issues and multiple long-term hospitalizations that have finally resulted in a preliminary diagnosis of Lewy Body/Parkinsons/Parkinsonian dementia. (We have more appointments this year for the neuro-psych team at the VA to identify exactly which one, but they did a DaT-Scan to determine it's in that family and not Alzheimer's.) Fortunately my parents live only 5 minutes from me, so I'm able to be there every day, and I'm applying to the VA for the caregiver designation to get benefits and a stipend, but that's a long process.
Meanwhile, all of this has thrown me into a massive fibromyalgia pain flare. Ugh.
So I appreciate everyone's patience with me this year. Please feel free to remind me of your name/how I know you if I give you a blank stare. LOL Look for my bright blue hair, or the Bard, or my friend Tracy!
With everything going on I forgot to do pre-orders, forgot to order books I'm out of, and have fallen woefully behind on print formatting. I'm slowly working on getting caught up.
